In her maiden Senate speech, Victoria Cunningham set out a youth-centred approach to education reform and urged collaborative solutions to Bermuda's pressing challenges.
On education, she said: "We must ensure that every child, regardless of their school, has access to high-quality education," adding that "we must ensure that our young people have a voice in shaping their own education." On electoral participation, she called for reforms to make voting more convenient and inclusive, including the prioritising of absentee ballots.
